Here is a run through of the Shop Savvy application, which lets you scan barcodes and get product information.

when I sleep my phone is in the charger any way so…
it doesn’t matter
turn them off when you sleep. do use apps in your sleep? there is actually an app to help battery life. look it up or get a car charger
don’t take this the wrong way but you need to learn English before you give an opinion about anything
i with having it all on my nokia n86 am having my battery lasting 72 hours. 8 hours of nonstop media running with sound.
read my lips:
if I have to turn them off then whats the point of having them
This comment is full of lies :)
@christianzen2004
Idiot -.- just open them when you need them..
lol!
when I got my G1 phone
I charge it for 24 Hr
and
with a full battery
it only lasted 4 Hr
and dont tell me that history about :
you have to turn off all of the features
like 3G and GPS or WiFi
if I have to turn them off then whats the point of having them
just charge the phone every night when you are a sleep, or don’t u sleep?
damn wat it technology coming to these days. Thats like crazy. Next thing you know, we’re gonna have phones that can eat
@Ninjaboy890 Well it can’t recognize the barcode if it’s all blurry ;)
@christrocfan Actually, it doesn’t. I tried covering up the numbers and it can still recognize them with the lines. It would be even more difficult to scan the numbers and decode them..
the battery life on smart phones is ridiculously short so guys stick to regular cell phones
until they fix the problem
all it does is read the numbers under the barcode
it does lol
will this work in the UK
lol sounds like al roker
PLEASE SEND TO LINK OF SOFTWARE

@mrinehart93 They just submitted the iPhone version earlier this month. There’s vids here on YouTube by the creator on it. It works instantly with and without auto focus too.
Just another reason why Android is awesome :) iPhone’s have something like this called Red Laser, however it’s nowhere near as good as the scanners on Android. And the app works with any product.
it works with everystihng scanned a box or rice crispies yesterday on my droid
there is a new app : Text Recognition Capture (camera) and translation various languages ( video about it on my chanel)
Now does this work with all barcode products like food at the grocery store or just books and electronics?
