Apple just introduced the new iPhone 3G S, featuring improved speed and performance—up to twice as fast as iPhone 3G—longer battery life, a high-quality 3 megapixel autofocus camera, easy to use video recording and hands free voice control.
iPhone 3G S includes the new iPhone OS 3.0, with over 100 new features such as Cut, Copy and Paste, MMS, Spotlight Search, landscape keyboard and a new Find My iPhone feature that works together with MobileMe to help you locate a lost iPhone.
The Fastest iPhone Ever
The first thing you’ll notice about iPhone 3G S is how quickly you can launch applications. Web pages render in a fraction of the time, and you can view email attachments faster. Improved performance and updated 3D graphics deliver an incredible gaming experience, too. In fact, everything you do on iPhone 3G S is up to 2x faster and more responsive than iPhone 3G.

OK, so what can we say about newest HTC phones and Windows Mobile???
ehm… well… aha?!
Anything else??
So apart from Nike + iPod (yawns) what can this do new that WM + HTC can’t? The Touch HD can do all of this using mostly stock applications.
Win Mo 7 can only be better.

Right, right.. i was also ROTFL, when i was reading about that breath taking feature called “Copy, cut & paste”… and magically it also works between applications! I must say WOW! LOL
But on other side. Let’s be honest and say, yes we have 100x more features on Windows Mobile, since years… but the way, how is it done on it, it’s still the same WM2003 or even older style…
Not to mention that absolutely slow motion (or maybe it’s a slide show feature) speed and responsiveness of Windows Mobile compared to iPhone. That sucks so much!
I would say, that from all those years, when Microsoft was developing their mobile OS, while iPhone didn’t even exist, Microsoft should theoretically be so much ahead in this, that Apple would never have a chance to even come up with iPhone.
And what we have now? Same old WM2003 with little bit facelifting. I cannot see anything special, what has changed since WM2003, through WM2003SE, WM5, WM6 and i am pretty sure, that WM7 will again be NO SURPRISE. Just the SAME OLD SHIT
I agree, Windows Mobile is just built on Windows CE + phone bit bolted on. The iPhone works so well because it was designed from the ground up to be a phone with all the “coolness” of Apple. I hope WM7 has more core changes than the previous versions.

Speed…yeah, it’s really fast, but you have to remember: this “OS” is SINGLE-THREADED! That’s why it’s so fast….
