what do you mean this or verizon?…this is a phone, not a phone service
iphone is the only phone running apple iphone os, while microsoft can distribute the system across multiple devices. so its not as hard as it may seem. besides, market in china is very different. so many smartphone users but very little iphone.
This is just a demo device. All Windows Phone 7 series devices will have a camera.

@athoughtfulname Apples Market share in smartphones is just around 13%. Windows Mobile has recently dropped below that to around 9%. RIM has 20% and Symbian 50%

i think it’s fine…. but just too weird…. it seems like it needs to be more like android…
this just seems too complicated…. and in some points not as complex as they usually make it… i think google did a much better job
this looks like the phone for me. remember that everyone has their own preference in using a phone so this one looks like it will suite me
I have a feeling Apple already won in the smartphone market as well. Imagine how many phones Microsoft would have to sell to beat the iPhone’s market share – that’s a lot!
This should be interesting. I wonder if this going to end up like the Ipod vs Zune thing. (apple kinda won that one)

Does anybody know if this can install apps to the SD card? Or is it limited to the main memory like the Android. This is what have prevented Android from catching up to the IPhone in terms of apps.

Yes, the same design language. If you’ve ever used a Windows 7 touch-enabled PC and played with Media Center, you’ll realize that the UI is so suited to finger operation.
I know what you mean, the Ipad is the last straw with apple not bothering with its products anymore.
And microsoft is doing well with this o.s by telling the phone makers what to do rather than letting them do what they want and making rubbish mobiles that spoil the windows mobile name
Microsoft is very smart… They will start selling it in November or December when people start buying gifts for the family, friends and more important, themselves… I’m a Windows lover so I might get one…

Agreed 100%. As I’ve said many times before, popularity doesn’t = better. The iPod is what’s in. But the sound quality is shit. And iTunes is also shit, not to mention ugly as hell. And I’ve played around with the iPhone, Nexus, and Droid. iPhone may be what’s “in” but the N1 & Droid EASILY pwn the shit out of it. I’m not saying the iPhone’s all around crap. It’s just that popularity doesnt = the best.
